The Treasurer serves in this role for both WPCI and its non-profit entity WPCI Education Fund, Inc. (WPCIEFI)
WPCI:
- Receives all monies belonging to WPCI
- Makes a financial report of each regular meeting
- Issues reimbursement checks
- Keeps an itemized record of all receipts and disbursements
- Is responsible for state and federal government reports of both WPCI and WPCIEFI
- Submit WPCI’s books for an audit at the close of the fiscal year
- Receives bonding through our auditor
- Receives and pays bills
WPCIEFI:
- Issues scholarship money
- Deposits donations
- Has custody of all funds, property and securities of the corporation, subject to such regulations as may be imposed by the Board of Directors
- Is governed by the bonding and requirements of WPCI in keeping an accurate account of all moneys and obligations received and paid or incurred for the corporation.
