Learn how to become part of a network of writers at the Sept. 18 meeting of the Woman’s Press Club of Indiana, the group’s first in-person meeting in more than a year.
The club welcomes Rachel Sahaidachny, executive director of the Indiana Writers Center, as speaker for the session, which begins at 11:30 a.m. at George’s Neighborhood Grill, 6935 Lake Plaza Dr., Indianapolis. She will speak on “Indiana Writers Center: The Benefits of a Writing Community.”
Attendees will order from the menu, and the talk is open to all. However, reserve your spot by emailing info@wpcindiana.org no later than Sept. 10.
In addition to serving as director of the nonprofit center, Sahaidachny also is a writer and poet whose work has been published in the South Dakota Review, The Southeast Review, Radar Poetry and Indiana Humanities, among others. She is a winner of the Wabash Watershed Indiana Poetry Award and was a finalist for the Radar Poetry Coniston Prize. She is former poetry editor of Booth: A Journal.
