Woman’s Press Club of Indiana will celebrate its national and state communications contest winners at its annual awards banquet April 27 at Hollyhock Hill restaurant in Indianapolis.
Members and guests will participate in a short business meeting at followed by lunch at the iconic restaurant. Contest directors will hand out awards following lunch.
The WPCI contest, conducted earlier this year, earned 13 entrants more than 35 awards in first, second and third place, and honorable mention. The first place winners’ work went on to compete in the National Federation of Press Women communications contest, where nine WPCI members won 14 awards.
First place winners at the national level will receive their awards at the NFPW conference June 27-29 in Baton Rouge, Louisiana.
