Founded in 1913, the Woman's Press Club of Indiana is a non-profit organization of media professionals in communication. It is a charter member and a current affiliate of the National Federation of Press Women. WPCI welcomes men and women professional communicators and communication students into our membership.
Our members work as reporters, editors, freelancers, teachers, broadcasters and public relations professionals for a variety of news organizations. Several of our members are authors of fiction and non-fiction books.
Our mission is to advance professional standards, provide exchange of journalistic ideas and experiences, and coordinate efforts of interest to communicators.
We provide scholarships in connection with our communications contest. Browse these pages and discover the benefits, services and worthwhile projects that make WPCI important to its members. Then download your membership form from the Join us page and send it in to become part of a team of professionals.
